MFA Thesis Exhibition

Higher Ground is an exhibition consisting of a multi-chaptered graphic novel, projected animations, and illustrations that explore themes of tension and suspense that exist within narrative and visual storytelling in both static and time-based media. The narrative itself parallels the cultural trauma surrounding the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina devastating the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2005.
